Thematic Series

The Thematic Series Class for is designed for beginner and intermediate level artists who are interested in producing a unified body of work, or “a series”, exploring a central theme and/or concept. Students choose the media they want to work with (drawing, painting, or mixed media) and the instructor provides individualized guidance in combination with group instruction.

Miami Art League - Kids & Teens
Art Portfolio Class (Ages 10-15 yrs)

The Art Portfolio Class for Kids & Teens provides expert instruction in visual art within an inspiring, supportive environment. Whether your child needs to build a competitive portfolio for magnet auditions or just wants to have fun making real fine art, this course is the perfect opportunity to develop their creativity. Students are guided through exciting projects that target magnet school portfolio requirements, with emphasis placed on observational drawing.

Budding artists get introduced to real fine art processes and techniques in fun, engaging projects designed to foster individual expression and begin building technical skills in drawing and painting. Students will benefit from expert instruction and hands-on guidance in exciting lessons that help lay the foundation for a life-long love of art!
